Dr. McAllister and his associates offer different types of assessments according to the goals you set.
Screening assessments involve interviews with Dr. McAllister, online neurocognitive measures, self-report measures, and Virtual Reality assessments of attention, executive function, and memory. The report is in bullet form and outlines possible and likely diagnoses. Additional measures such as personality measures and, in the case of neurodevelopmental issues, collateral interviews with a parent, can be added to provide a basis for definitive diagnoses.
We also offer EEG-based assessments on brain functioning that are guides to neurofeedback treatment.
We no longer offer entitlement assessments such as psychoeducational assessments, assessments for accommodations at school or the workplace, and assessments for the disability tax credit, long term disability, ODSP, and CPP. We offer instead dynamic assessments that are informed by the on-going impact of treatment.
